Hard time finding gear.

I would post this in the Marketplace forum, but I feel this might get more attention here.

The problem is I have a Level 66 Knight yet most of my gear is ranging from 4x-5x. Also since this is the case it seems like it is taking extra long to level since I can't take on more than one enemy in Forbbiden or I get slaughtered.

The main concern is. Why is it that 2x-4x and the occasional 5x item drops in a 6x-7x area. If you cant enter these areas until you are around these levels then why gimp the drops to something you cant use.
